I love movie night. Whether the hubs and I are going out for date night to see the latest film, or we stay home to relax to watch a great movie.
I am a snacker. Obviously popcorn at the movies, but when we stay home, I like to nosh a little too. Especially if we invite friends over for some relaxing but fun time movie night.
I love to offer some yummy appetizers, and if those appetizers come with cheese, then that is always a crown pleaser and of course, one of my all time favorite. Cheese, yes please.
I love this appetizer and so do my guests. It is savory and sweet and of course in puff pastry! They are also simple to make.
Castello Danish Blue cheese is what I use because it is so creamy and I love the tangy flavor. It compliments the sweetness of the blackberry so well.
You should definitely try this recipe, especially with the holiday’s just around the corner.

Wow – your appetizer is so simple and yet so elegant. I bet that blue cheese with the blackberry preserves is just delish! I really am going to have to try this because I have some blue cheese left over! Perfect!

Thanks Wendi. This recipe is really delish. I love the sweetness of the onion and preserves with the tangyness of the cheese. And anything is good in puff pastry!
