So your trying to watch your intakes of sweets, that was your new years resolution, right? But I know your still craving something sweet… don’t worry, I have a treat for you, so fast and simple and healthy! Chia seeds are very high in those omega 3’s and yogurt has your good probiotics and protein and with only a small amount of sugar this pudding is one your kids will even love.
Chia Pudding
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk or nut milk of your choice (coconut, almond, or hemp)
- 1 cup of honey flavored yogurt (I used Noosa)
- 2 tablespoon of sweetener
- (you could use maple syrup, honey or I used a simple syrup)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
Instructions
- Mix yogurt, milk, vanilla and sweetener together until smooth and then add the chia seeds until completely mixed. Place in a tupperware and refrigerate over night.
- This will allow the chia seeds to become gelatinous and turn into your pudding! Enjoy topped with fresh fruit, cinnamon or just by itself. Warning this is highly addicting!
