Breakfast has always been a favorite of mine. Sadly, I have an aversion to eggs, so my options are usually limited for breakfast meals. Luckily, I found my breakfast soulmate: French toast. I’ve spent years eating French toast for breakfast but up until recently, it never occurred to me to combine my favorite breakfast and favorite drink. So, I give you coffee infused French toast.
We had a guest over this weekend and when that happens I tend to get creative with meals. So when trying to plan our breakfast, I knew French toast was inevitable but I wanted to try something new. A few ideas crossed my mind but the one that stuck was coffee.
This is one of the easiest breakfasts that you can make and feel good about it being homemade! A few simple ingredients and you have the perfect recipe to a slow Saturday morning.
If you’re like me, weekends are a time for recovery from a long week. It’s a time to start slow, sip a cup of coffee (or three), and put off responsibilities for a few more hours. One way to make sure that morning is slow is by enjoying a nice homemade breakfast.
