Warm bread. Isn’t it perfect? The way it fills your whole house with its delicious yeasty smell, the crunch of the crust with the fluffy soft center, toasted to perfection and served with pumpkin butter spread on top; divine!
As the weather starts to turn, I crave the warm goodness of fresh baked bread almost more than a glass of red wine… almost. The only problem is; bread is complicated, difficult, has a big margin for error, and takes time, care, and love. I mean wouldn’t it be grand if you could pop open a cold beer, stir it into some mix and have fresh bread in under an hour?
Well, I know this sounds WAY too good to be true, but this magic actually exists. I don’t know how the Boardwalk Food Company was able find such magic; perhaps they snared a unicorn to shave off horn dust in order to make this possible or maybe they hiked into the mountains of Nepal to some secluded cave where a Shaman bestowed this secret recipe to them, or maybe it was a witch who put a spell on the flour.
Or, even more unbelievable, maybe it’s SCIENCE!!! Regardless of how they captured this magic the most important thing is that they boxed it and have it for sale for us lay-people who want a loaf of fresh bread like yesterday and it tastes amazing! The best part of this delicious bread is that even with a sip or two missing from the beer, it still turned out perfect.
