Rosemary Sea Salt Beer Bread

October 29, 2014 By Marcella Rose 1 Comment

Warm bread.  Isn’t it perfect?  The way it fills your whole house with its delicious yeasty smell, the crunch of the crust with the fluffy soft center, toasted to perfection and served with pumpkin butter spread on top; divine!

As the weather starts to turn, I crave the warm goodness of fresh baked bread almost more than a glass of red wine… almost.   The only problem is; bread is complicated, difficult, has a big margin for error, and takes time, care, and love. Three layer Tex Mex Dip

Our family has been in and out of suitcases lately. I love being able to travel, and it was especially nice without our little one tagging along. My husband and I enjoyed many long conversations  that weren’t interrupted by a diaper or feeding or baby kiss-a-thon.

One of my favorite aspects of traveling is experiencing the different foods that make their way into the culture of the city and state, or even country. However, no matter how incredibly delicious the food of the region is, I always crave Tex-Mex upon landing on Texas soil. Something about the heat radiating off the pavement and the wide open skies calls me to eat all the chips and salsa, fajitas and empanada’s in sight.

Low Carb Peanut Butter Cheesecake Bites

October 22, 2014 By Rebekah Stark 6 Comments

My mom makes AMAZING peanut butter balls every holiday season. I request them as much as I can even when it’s not the Holidays. But, boy, do they do a number on the calories. So I took it upon myself to figure out a low carb version
