Strawberry Sweet Tea | Stay cool during the dog days of summer with this refreshing Strawberry Sweet Tea! Singing of strawberries and summertime sweetness, this tea is perfect to sip during a warm afternoon.

The dog days of summer are almost here, and I don’t know about y’all, but I am increasingly spending more and more time indoors because it’s just that hot outside.

Gone are the days of taking leisurely afternoon walks.

Gone are the days of gardening in the sunshine.

If you need me, chances are I’m hiding indoors.

Strawberry Honey Moscow Mule

July 23, 2015 By Rebekah Stark Leave a Comment

I’ve recently discovered that there is a difference between ginger beer and ginger ale. Ginger beer doesn’t have alcohol, and ginger ale is usually easier to find. I’ve always wondered why people just don’t take the short cut when making Moscow mules. I understand now.

Ginger beer is brewed and fermented. Ginger ale is just soda with ginger in it.  Since Ginger beer isn’t carbonated it has a much more gingery flavor. And just because it says beer, don’t let that fool you. No alcohol plus way less sugar than Ginger ale.  It’s a win-win really. And for the alcohol to make this Moscow mule a real mule, we just use something most of us have in our cabinets already anyway – vodka.

This is a sponsored post as part of a SUBWAY® blogging program. The opinions and ideas
expressed here are my own.

I am a huge fan of SUBWAY® Restaurants and It is one of my fave places for sandwiches. I can
have a sandwich any different way that I want, and so many options. It is that bread! I have a
SUBWAY® Restaurants near my grocery store, and the smell of the freshly baked bread, gets
me every time and I find myself downing a delicious sandwich.

I am loving SUBWAY® Restaurants even more because of their newest charity campaign “You
Share. We Share” campaign with SUBWAY® Restaurants

From now through August 31st, more than 7,800 SUBWAY® Restaurants near you are
participating with local charities in the USA and Canada to give back to the local community.

The “You Share. We Share” campaign encourages the community to get out and share their
weekends with SUBWAY® Restaurants, and SUBWAY® Restaurants in the Phoenix, Tucson,
and Yuma areas will share right back by donating a percentage of weekend sales, up to
$58,000, directly to Special Olympics Arizona. As locally owned and operated franchises,
SUBWAY® Restaurants is excited to be able to further its commitment to the local community.

“In Special Olympics, the athletes are the heart of the movement. The athletes not only
have the opportunity to develop physical fitness and become competitive athletes, but
through our support programs such as Athlete Leadership, Unified Sports and Healthy
Athletes they gain the knowledge and resources to live a healthy lifestyle and evolve as
leaders and important members of society.”

Gorgonzola Butter

July 20, 2015 By Cat Elsby 1 Comment

Gorgonzola ButterThere are not many things I love more than cheese. Sure I love my family, my friends, my pets and my boyfriend. But then in a very close fifth place, there’s cheese.

I want to put cheese on everything. There are so many different kinds, and each one complements different dishes perfectly.

One of my all-time favorite cheeses though, is Gorgonzola. I could seriously eat Gorgonzola with a spoon, every single day. I hear that’s frowned upon though, so I’ve resorted to sneaking it into some foods.
