Vanilla Hot Chocolate // @speckledpalate for @mycookingspot

This winter has been weird in Texas. Instead of consistent temperatures, ours have been waffling between the 80’s one day to the 20’s the next and everywhere in between.

It’s obnoxious, really, and I wish it would make up its mind, one way or the other.

February 3, 2018 By Becky Hardin Leave a Comment

I’m a big believer that sometimes the best and tastiest recipes are the simplest.  This recipe is solid proof on that being true.

But I truly do feel for all of you northern folks and I sincerely hope the cold is tolerable, and isn’t messing with your holiday season. The best way, in my mind, to deal with cold weather is to drink lots of hot beverages; hot cocoa, hot toddies, coffee. If the snow is keeping you indoors and away from Starbucks at any point this coming winter, but you’ve got to get your peppermint coffee fix, all you need is four relatively common ingredients to make this homemade VanillaMint Coffee Creamer recipe!  [Read more…]

Cranberry Bourbon Cheesecake Bites - a delightful treat at any holiday party! | Get the recipe on MyCookingSpot.com!

Another year has gone by, and another Christmas season is drawing to a close; while, this year, I was anxious for Christmas to be over (thanks to my day job.) I now wish that I had been able to take the time to slow down and take it all in… [Read more…]
