Fall has officially started, which means that the holiday season it just around the corner. Now, I don’t know about you, but I am thinking up all the goodies I am going to make for Thanksgiving and Christmas. You’re probably thinking, oh no, she is probably one of those people that gets all her shopping done for the holidays in September and October. No way! But you have to admit that would be nice! I am, however, a person that loves looking through magazines and cookbooks, not to mention asking friends for their special recipes, and making a list of everything I want to try for the influx of family and friends.

Italian Cauliflower Cheese Sticks
Cauliflower is the new black.
Thanks to Pinterest, cauliflower has gone from the bottom to the top of most grocery lists. I have never been a huge cauliflower fan myself, but after my successful Cilantro Cauliflower Rice recipe, I have turned over a new leaf. I am such a big advocate of getting more fruit and veggies into my family’s diet and if cauliflower is what it takes, then I am totally on board!
The last time my family went out to eat at our favorite pizza joint, I saw the couple at the table next to us chowing down on some incredible looking cheese sticks. From that night on, I’ve been craving them. Problem is…I’m gluten intolerant and I have yet to find a restaurant or grocery store that makes anything but gluten-free pizza.
Rainbow Carrot Cutlets
The summer always makes me think of bright beautiful colors like rainbows, sunflowers and oh-so-delicious food!
I feel like I have always had a love affair with pretty food. The more colorful – the more I want to eat it!
When I was younger, it was mostly bright fruits and crayola-colored icing that got my attention, but as I came into my twenties, I really started turning my attention to vegetables. I started noticing the deep purple eggplant, those sunshine yellow spaghetti squash and those bright orange bell peppers.
