One of my favorite things about baking is being able to share treats with friends and family. I don’t know anyone whose day isn’t brightened by getting treats out of the blue! These chocolate chip mini muffins were a recent treat that I whipped up to take to a neighbor and they were such a hit with my family too, I just knew I had to share them with you.
Nutella Oreo Mousse
Seed-Crusted Teriyaki Chicken Legs
This recipe was born on a night when my husband and I were craving breaded chicken. I opened the pantry to find that we didn’t have any breadcrumbs! As I scanned the contents of our cabinets I saw a bag full of seeds that I had soaked and roasted the day before for another recipe. I thought I’d give it a try, and let me tell you; it was the perfect grain free breadcrumb alternative. Pumpkin and sunflower seeds give this Asian flavored dish a nutty undertone with a true crunch. Served along side my glazed carrots, it makes dinner practically blissful. Well, minus the baby sitting next to me grabbing for her own bite.
Prosciutto Wrapped Melon all tied with a Chive.
I love finding new ways to do old things. I also love finding new appetizers that you can eat with your hands. I entertain frequently and am always on the look out for hor d’oeuvres that I can set out for my guests, which don’t require a plate and fork to eat. It’s fabulous when all can be eaten just using your hands! Today I am going to share with you a classic Italian appetizer but with a “hands only” twist!
